The Daily Pages
OH, MY WORD daily pages are fun and relaxing to do. They are a form of active meditation to begin the day. There is no ‘right’ or ‘wrong’ way to do them, as everyone has their own unique style. Some print, some write, some draw the word and add symbols and figures that bring it to life. Some fill up the page with the word written over and over. One OH, MY WORD journaler draws scenes and landscapes and tucks the word throughout. Some like to use traditional wax crayons, others pencil crayons or gel pens. Still others like to draw the word using a graphite pencil, others prefer a black or coloured gel pen. Whatever way you choose to do your page is…. FANTASTIC! Check out the Gallery of Daily Pages to see examples of journaler’s words.
OH, MY WORD can be purchased online at Amazon, Chapters, and Barnes & Noble.
We have been asked many times for art supply recommendations. This has been passed along to Claire the illustrator of OH, MY WORD. Please check out Claire’s recommendations on the Shop page.
What OH, MY WORD users have to say:
“It’s more like a journey than a journal.”
– Karen Howes, Vancouver, BC
“I feel like I’m getting to know myself better…it’s something I do for me…I get a handle on what I’m feeling and what I’m thinking…it’s putting aside time for me. I feel much calmer and more able to cope with the day. I love looking back and revisiting my previous entries. It’s a timeline of my psyche!
– Lainey Findlay, Vancouver, BC
“I have been going through a difficult time in my life and I felt that this would be a very positive way to shift my perspective and open to new possibilities. My day begins with the entry in my Journal. It’s a fun, creative way to express my feelings. I’m able to grab hold of a sense of knowing that everything will be okay.”
– Donna McRae, Chilliwack, BC
