To live fearlessly we have to tame our fears and continue to\u00a0sshh<\/em> the inner critic that reminds us of them. Did you know that outside of rituals and habitual behaviors humans base almost every decision on fear: fear of rejection, fear of looking stupid, fear of being alone, fear of being laughed at and so on and so on? Fear keeps us closed and constricted —fearlessness opens us up to the best in life.<\/p>\n By the time we\u00a0reach mid life we have years and years of fears\u2014old fears, new fears all layering upon each other and resembling a small mountain. Time to dismantle this geographical wonder.<\/p>\n Good News! There are lots of ways we can\u00a0try on fearlessness and see how it feels.<\/p>\n \u201cHe who is not every day conquering some fear has not learned the secret of life.”<\/i><\/p>\n Ralph Waldo Emerson<\/p>\n IMAGINE<\/i>….the choices you would make if you had no fear.<\/p>\n What clothes would you wear tomorrow if everyone were sure to approve?<\/p>\n What music would you listen to if nobody were around?<\/p>\n What books would you read if you knew no one would judge you?<\/p>\n What position would you take if all were guaranteed to agree?<\/p>\n What would you begin tomorrow if everyone would celebrate you for it?<\/p>\n The longer we hold onto our fears the weaker we become.
