I still marvel at the lessons provided by the red shoes.<\/p>\n
I laugh, shake my head and accept that\u00a0insight can come from anywhere!<\/p>\n
The lessons are still top of mind. In fact, they are integrated into day to day life.<\/p>\n
The red shoes made me smile. They lifted my spirit and tickled my happy bone. I couldn\u2019t wait to put\u00a0 them on. I looked forward with anticipation to the experiences of the day.\u00a0 I entered each day excited, upbeat and wondering what was in store. Every person I came in contact without exception was happy, generous, warm and friendly.<\/p>\n
The red shoes showed me that when I\u2019m happy I see happiness in others.<\/p>\n
From that I ascertained that when I\u2019m frustrated, angry or tension filled I see others in that image. When I\u2019m sad I see sadness in people\u2019s eyes. When I\u2019m tired I see the world as boring and unattractive.<\/p>\n
We don\u2019t see things as they are, we see things as we<\/i> are.<\/p>\n
Not a bad lesson from a shoe!<\/p>\n
Now when my world reflects negatively…I first look\u00a0to\u00a0myself….for adjustment!<\/p>\n
Who I am is what I SEE.<\/p>\n
As you go thru your day today.<\/p>\n
Take note of your experiences<\/p>\n
What do you see?<\/p>\n
It\u2019s always our choice. Which world do I want to see today?<\/p>\n
