Hey Ladies…it’s our turn!

As mothers we’re used to putting everyone’s needs ahead of our own. With joyful hearts we slip into last place, working to help fulfill a dream…create an opportunity….provide a chance. Nothing could make us happier, it feeds the nurturing soul.

STOP – that was then this is now……. welcome to Life Part II.

Kids are grown and launched it’s time to claim top spot and become all we were meant to be!

That could mean going back to school, reviving a long lost passion, starting a business, switching career paths or (you name it) it’s time to accept the opportunities and abundance all around us and dream! Unless, of course, putting self last has become a kind of a comfort zone.

“If I am not good to myself, how can I expect anyone else to be good to me?” Maya Angelou

Ugh. Are we holding ourselves back? Is fear, guilt, feelings of unworthiness and our own (misplaced) comfort zones stopping us from realizing our full potential? Hmmmmmm. Do you see yourself in any of points below? I did. These are signs we not ready to move into first and open to receive the abundance flowing our way.

“I believe that the most important single thing, beyond discipline and creativity is daring to dare.” Maya Angelou

Ok…Maya Angelou you’re ON….I (for one) have work to do. Here’s how I’m going to facilitate my move into top spot and receive all opportunities headed my way!

Be Bold and Daring – Remind myself of what a stranger said to me 18 months ago (reread own words Be Bold Be Daring) Don’t be afraid to fail – I always told my daughter to celebrate failure(s) because it told her she was one step closer to success (revisit own words)

Expect great things – (I know this) … expectation leads to excitement and watchfulness…opportunities present left, right and center.

Say YES –(Yes! Yes! Yes! say no more) Give to others – Generosity opens a door to a steady flow of goodness and worth

Release the need to be perfect – (Note to self) Get out of own way!

Cultivate wonder – Be curious and willing to be delighted…say OH WOW often. Keep going – Faithfully put one foot in front of the other. Every little step outside the comfort zone expands growth, life, opens the flood gates to abundance and clears the way to top spot.

Believe in yourself and your dreams – Don’t ever underestimate your abilities and strengths. If doubt creeps in take advise from Kathlyn Hendricks PHD (author of Conscious Loving and The Conscious Heart), “The best way to shake free of negative thoughts is to make the sound hmmm aloud. “It’s impossible to criticize yourself when you’re making that sound,” she says. “Follow it up with a question: Hmmm, I wonder if I can….Hmmm…what do I need to know?” The answers will often launch you into new territory. “

There are infinite possibilities, opportunities and blessings awaiting us!

It is our destiny to become all we were meant to be. We are worthy and deserving of top spot!

Claim it!

Hey Ladies…it’s our turn!
